The General Civil Aviation Authority chose this name tosignify the importance of Safety and Security in the rapidlygrowing UAE Aviation Industry and considering the increasingtraffic in its Airspace.SAMAE is a smart application developed by the in-house IT team ofthe GCAA for a quicker and smarter way for the stakeholders &customers to communicate with the Authority.The state of the art developed application complies with the UAEand the international Civil Aviation regulations and is first ofits kind in the aviation industry to revolutionize interaction ofthe license holder with the Authority. The smart applicationenables the customer to conduct end to end transaction with theAuthority ranging from Initial issue, renewal and re-issuance ofPilot, Engineer, Flight Dispatcher, Air traffic controller andCabin Crew licenses along with the ePayment functionality.The application is hybrid in nature & available on variousmobile platforms, developed in compliance with the internationalstandards such as W3C, UAE Federal Government SMART GovernmentGuidelines and certified by Truste for security and integrity andcode certified by Symantec.
UAE Drone Fly Zone Map 10.0.12
The objective of this Drone Fly Zone Map APPis to enable (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) RPAS / DroneOperators in the UAE to determine where they are permitted tooperate their RPAS / Drones in areas which are clear of airportsand other controlled and restricted airspaces.
